LOCATION:
The Royal Botanic Garden is located just north-west of the Edinburgh city centre.
Edinburgh is an extremely popular tourist destination in summer, especially during the Edinburgh Fringe festival which runs the entire month of August. We recommend that you book accommodations early!
GROUP BOOKING OPTION:
We have a set of rooms booked at Pollock Hall (single room student dorm accommodations) available for guests. Please let us know via the RSVP if you would like to book one or more of these rooms, preferably before the 27th Feb.
CAN I BRING MY CHILD/ A PLUS ONE?
Our guest numbers for the ceremony are limited. If you wish to bring partners or children, please let us know. We have a much higher capacity at the evening reception.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A KILT?
There's no requirement to wear a kilt, but can easily rent one at one of many kilt hire shops if they would like to wear one for the wedding. Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers and Slater Menswear are recommended options.
ARE THE GARDENS ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. Most of the garden including the buildings where dinner and the reception will be held are accessible to wheelchairs.
CAN I GIVE A GIFT?
We don't have any Gift registry but there will be Laisee (利是) at the reception if you wish to contribute to our Honeymoon.
